Charity is primarily a feeling, a deep sense of well being, a feeling of divine love and acceptance. It fills the recipient with a courage that makes him absolutely fearless. When you possess charity, you see the world through spiritual eyes and nothing in this world looks frightening. With charity, the sense of God's love is so profound that you know he will protect you against all hazards as you obey him, and such a feeling makes one into a great spiritual warrior.
